This package provides the necessary installation files of Server Technology Smart PRO2 Cabinet Distribution Unit Firmware version 8.0d.

Fixes:

- Fixed LDAP login failures. Previously, even with proper configuration, LDAP logins would only succeed if the optional 'Group Search' was enabled and succeeded.
- Fixed StartUp Stick support to perform an automatic restart after successfully applying one-or-more changes that require a restart.
- Fixed WLAN/Wi-Fi support to avoid UI options disappearing.
- Fixed the SNMP agent to only accept an integer data type in set operations of st4OutletControlAction, st4OutletQueueControl, and st4TempSensorScale objects.
- Fixed the web interface to display system alert messages.
- Fixed rare cases of slow-to-respond outlet state-change actions.
- Fixed rare cases of outlets failing to sequence ON after initial power-up.
- Fixed STIC support to enforce a minimum bluetooth name length of 1, and to not reset the SPM password when 'no' is specified.
- Fixed UPS line load shedding to include link units.
- Fixed several minor formatting issues with log messages.

UPGRADING THE FIRMWARE

Upgrading CDU Firmware via WEB UI:

1. Acces the Web User Interface for your device.
2. From the Configuration > System Files Menu, choose the desired upgrade file by clicking Choose File.
3. To upgrade your CDU, click Upload. This will restart the CDU's Management Module but will not interrupt the power the CDU is supplying to the outlets.
4. The upload progress message will appear. Wait until the upgrade is completed.

Upgrading firmware over FTPS using SFTP client:

1. Using FileZilla or any compatible FTP Client, you can update your PRO2 unit by simply connecting over port 22 and dragging the upgrade file to the root directory in the PRO2 unit.
2. Click on the pro2-v8*.bin file and drag the file to the right-side of the pane. The upgrade and subsequent CDU restart will begin automatically. This will not affect the power the CDU is supplying to the outlets.

Upgrading firmware over FTP using FTP client:

1. Follow the steps in the "Upgrading firmware over FTPS using SFTP client" without specifying a connectio protocol parameter. FileZilla will default to FTP using port 21.
